During my recent Christmas stay at Bodhi Boutique Inn, I was truly enchanted by its charming ambiance and attentive service. Nestled in the heart of Dukezong Ancient Town, the location couldn't be better-just a 6-minute stroll to the vibrant Old Town Square and the majestic Dafu giant prayer wheel. Despite being a bit quiet with not many guests, my group and I appreciated the warm upgrade to a more spacious room, though it could have used a tad more attention in the cleaning department. What really stood out was the friendly staff, who were always eager to assist, whether it was offering tips about local supermarkets or recommending nearby restaurants, including a delightful Korean spot just across the street. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a fantastic selection, from local dishes to great Western options-and if you're a coffee lover like me, you won't be disappointed! To top it off, the electric blankets were a lifesaver during those chilly -1 Celsius nights. Bodhi Boutique Inn offers great value for money and is highly recommendable for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the authentic spirit of Shangri-La, whether traveling solo or with friends.
